About

Dustin Slade is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico, and resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dustin is a 2005 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Brigham Young University. As a BYU student, he interned in the nominations unit of the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary, where he researched nomination issues, managed files of all Article III nominees, and did some speech writing for the Committee Chairman. At BYU, Dustin also did research in the Center for the Study of Elections and Democracy, appurtenant to which organization he later served as Research Faculty in the Political Science Department at BYU. Dustin graduated in May of 2010 from Harvard Law School, where he served as Senior Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. While at Harvard, Dustin was also awarded a Seevak Fellowship in which he studied election law and redistricting issues. Also while in law school, he completed a study abroad in Santiago, Chile at La Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he studied Chile’s new Ministerio Publico. Dustin served on the board of directors for the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club while he was in Lubbock.
